I always loved the Duke, what a cool plane, big power in a small package.

I thanked NP for marketing this and asked for a flight charcteristic vid, it may be too new...

I am not going to tell you what to do... But I have been flying now for about 4 years. If you do go with this plane, have someone else check it over once you get it ready to fly and have someone else maiden it for you. If you have never flown or do not own an RC model, I would not recommend this as a first model... Good luck with you on it

Morning Sparkie, I would get help with the expo set up and a maiden.

I have about 300 flights on a PZ T28 and near 100 on a PZ Stinson but no twins yet.

If I buy a Duke it will be inspected and hung up 'till I get more experience.

I am sure by then there will be more than a few reports on performance !

Tim,

You should be ok with it... Try to find an experienced pilot to maiden it. 2 eng is pretty easy on electric. Gas is another story. Engines rarely fail in electrics. I currently have 3 twins an 2 4 engines. Only one engine failure and that was on the bench before maiden ... bad motor grom stock.

From the first time I saw them they were $199, plus used a 10% coupon for 179. Mine has already been shipped. When it arrives, I will post information on it.

It showed up in an email. Sorry, I do not have the current email that had it or I would share it.

I've gotten stuff, not just from NP, but other vendors with wildly incorrect weights showing, always works out though..
