yup, he seemed to have a history here and on RCU or Ebay I believe. I didn't see that before I bought from him but I guess I got lucky. I have about 20 3 cell batteries from him, and an equal amount of 4 and 5 S ones. The earlier GForce batteries had a brittle plastic covering on the balance leads, but the newer ones are more pliable. Anyway, I'd give them a try.

Sometimes vendors give discounts of various amounts at various times of the year. At other times, vendors give out items for free in return for commentary and reviews. Sometimes you have to be at the right place at the right time.

i think i'll try one of there 6s 50c packs when they get them back in stock in the us, upgraded to a bigger gas prop on my revolver and my 30c packs were sagging so much they went into lvc. would have been nice to get that 10% off and have them shipped from the u.s.

You've been asked many times by different people who your "fellow flying friend" is who gave you that really nice A4 that doesn't seem to be available to the public. Why the secrecy around where you got it?

Jason has agreed to substitute the 40C in place of the 30C ones; And the offer of the $5 on the next order is still good. As long as the Lipos get here in 1 piece and in a reasonable time, I'm a happy camper.

It's not rocket science, there is one vender local in to him in NY city and I'm sure you already know who he is.

The pricing of the packs looks reasonable, I wish the higher discharge (40C and greater) were available in smaller sizes than 1000 mAh. Looking forward to reports on performance. I'm getting irritated with 40C skylipos crapping out prematurely.

I received only 1 of 2 ordered 4s 2200 40c, although the packing slip shows 2. I am awaiting Jason's reply on that issue. Anyway the 1 I received flies great performing about the same as the GForce 4s 2200 40c I use all the time. I am a bit concerned about the discharge lead which is a rather long 6". Seems like that is a bit long with all the warnings about keeping ESC lead lengths short. The other batteries seem to be around 3". But my 8 minute flights on a high performance Stik come down at about 3.8 volts per cell which is good.

I don't actually, there is more than one vendor in that area, but since he brought the issue up, and then teased the release of the info later, it seemed like an appropriate question to ask.

Those skylipos are crap and they also have metal plates on both sides of the lipo , another way of hiding the puffness that comes from the top and bottom cell

The prices don't look that bad at all. The site takes forever to load though, maybe just my connection.

literally pieces of metal? I've never seen that in a battery, when mine go they ballon up. I've got a few skylipos too, 4 and 5 s ones, I'll have to look at that.
