not really too impressed with the order so far.

No confirmation email on the order. No order number. no way to check on order. I've tried logging back into the site, but there's no way to retrieve the order.

The only email I got is the paypal confirmation email that says I sent so and so amount to chinahobbyline.com

anyways, no one's online on the site...

oh well. I'll sit back and hope they got the order.

Just don't sit back too long and miss your window to file a PayPal claim if nothing shows up

To their credit, I emailed jason (site contact), and received a response from him about 20 mins later saying they've received my order and were packing the order; however, when I replied back asking if they were going to send a tracking number, he hasn't responded. It's been about 24 hrs. now.

I would cringe a bit if they sent it without tracking...oh and it would be foolish of them.

I don't know if I'm being too critical of them, but for a new vendor trying to get their feet wet with RCG members, they're certainly not making a great impression.

Well, I finally got a response after 2 days. Jason says he'll send me tracking after the shipment goes out. So far no tracking, which means it hasn't shipped. It's nearly the end of today...3 full days and no shipment

oh well. I was hoping to get them to try 'em out this weekend.

Got another email- apparently now I'm told the USA warehouse is out stock and my order has been delayed. hmmmm. I was sure when I bought stocked level was 40+; but anyways, Jason offered to either ship it out of Hong Kong or a refund.

Since I'm not really in a hurry and my original goal was really to simply try out the site as well as test the Lipo for comparison, I opted for the Lipos to be shipped out of Hong Kong.

we'll see where this goes. will update if I ever get them Lipos.

Thanks for being a guinea pig, RCADL. They've already lost my business... not like they would have ever had it anyway.

Hopefully the company treats their batteries better than their customers.

Jason did offer $5 off my next order though.

To that, I asked if he would be willing to sell me 2 more of the same Lipo and take $5 of that and ship at the same time...and I'd call it even.

27.98 - $5 = $22.98

Well he's not lying about the holiday. It is Mid-Autumn Day whatever that is.

There's supposedly plenty of the 40C, could have asked him to substitute it as long as the weight difference doesn't bother you.

I don't think these guys are the same guys as valuehobby. They are fairly new and their USA warehouse just opened less than a month ago according to Jason.

ya, I didn't mean to indicate they were the same. I thought you were asking earlier about another good vendor to use, I was just suggesting Value Hobby (uh oh, shill alert!). I've had great luck with them and I don't have to solder anything. Hobbypartz has been o/k too.

I was going to try valuehobby a while back, but found a few disturbing threads on them and shied away.
