You're right on a lot of points. We have had demo's etc, in the past, but not lately. I just don't think we should beat our selves up about the attendance; it's been up and down through the years. In this area of the state the younger people who are working, many are doing shift work, some don't live close to Little Chute and weather sometimes plays a part. I think as long as we keep participating in the activities that come up and our membership doesn't go down in numbers we shouldn't worry about it. We have good participation at the auction and other niche activities ( public demo's) etc. by small groups of members and we try to have a food bash meeting in December; more people come to that and it's a good time. We aren't loosing membership in large numbers and those dues are what keep us going.

this thread has been open long enough to give people a chance for input. we will need to discuss this at the november meeting where we will discuss meeting times and incentives to attend them.
Thaks to all who responded.
Hope to see you on the 13th
