Starmax He-162 Spatz overloaded
I decided to improve the Spatz performance by changing the little 64mm 4300kv with the more powerful Mercury 3700kv alloy EDF.
I changed the 30A ESC for a 60A. The battery used was a Nano 4s 2200 35c. I had to make some room in the nacelle to accommodate the longer EDF but everything went fine. Today was the maiden flight and I must say that this is a totally different plane. Originally I needed to be very cautious on the turns because the plane tended to drop the wingtip, but with the higher velocity of the Mercury, now the turns are more sharp and controlled.
