Cuz we can just hook them up with our current "professional" Txs and adjust rates, expos, etc
Some have stated that V922 uses the same protocol as HiSKY, so it might work with HiSKY HT8 adapter.

HT8 Radio Adapter Specifications
Operating voltage: 5-12V DC
Operating current: <100mA
Frequency: 2402MH2-2477MH2
Spread Spectrum mode: FHSS
FM rate: 240 per second

Setting up the HT8 Radio Adapter

1. Properly connected the HT8 signal line and HT8ís power cord (JR signal line connects to the radio DSC interface, Power cord connects to the DC charging port) (Futaba's connection is the signal line and power cord combined together connecting the coach interfaces)

2. The HT8 signal light is green under normal circumstances. When it's red, please check if the signal line connecting is right, and if the remote control to set the modulation mode is the PPM format. Set the type of remote control using the HT8's button, The status indicator (Model), Futaba (green), JR (red), Walkera (not bright).

3. Follow the Step1 and 2 that the Status indicator is normal. Then it can be used normally. The next is to set the HT8 bind with the receiver. (More details refer to the manual)

So long as you know this going in its manageable and encourages better spare parts planning. :-)
At this time of the year, shipping times are understandably longer. Generally, smaller items take a shorter time to reach than larger items. Small parts like tail rotors should reach earlier than RTF package.

I read on a Chinese forum, I think one Fyre linked to (thanks to google), that the first revision of the HiSKY HT8 adapter had issues (however, I couldn't understand what were these issues).

I hope I'll receive V2 with the Fbl100 I ordered from HobbyEurope.

Wait and see...

New vid from 9imod:
9imod.com-WLtoys V922 first flight in the light rain (3 min 15 sec)

It shows a little bit more of the v922 capabilities, although not yet enough...

Wow...49 sold at banggood so far. Not much demand for it even at 99 bucks? Can be less with coupons.

I suppose the relatively "low" demand is because -

1. It is still a CP helicopter, which isn't suitable for everyone. It's not going to be as easy as a V911. I have friends who can't fly V911 properly and got themselves 3-channel coaxials instead. They will not be looking at a micro FBL CP like V922 in the near future.

2. While it costs below 100 bucks, it is still a large chunk of money.

3. I supposed many who wanted a micro FBL CP heli would have gotten one (e.g. Mini CP, Genius CP, MCPX, etc) already by now.

4. Lack of feedback and reviews.

Only a few of us want to be guinea pigs.
I for shure don't want to be one any more... so waiting a few months until it's sorted out may be a good idea.

I think the major drawback of the v922 is the lack of 9x or any other popular protocol compatibility...

I saw that BangGood has listed the HiSky Ht8 module for 21$ shipped (although not in stock yet):
http://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-Hi...0-p-59089.html

Now, the only question is - doe's the V922 can bind to the 9x Tx using the Ht8 module?

Aaron, can you check it please?

If it works together, I am sure many more will buy the v922 and the Ht8 - Especially if you will list a v922 bundle with the HT8 instead of the stock Tx (with the batteries, charger and the other goodies that the v922 comes with).

50 in two days

Considering the v922 was only two days out of pre- order status, 50 is good amount for a new CP

$99 is the right price to learn flying CP

I plan to buy several or more if they offer BNF so when I crash there is a spare and my day is not over...

HiSky FBL100 + radio cost 40$ more
HiSky FBL100 + external module ... still cost more then v922 + radio.

At the end ... the price made the v922 a "winner" ... but ... I would still hope to see a compatible module soon ...

v922 + module for 89$ ... would be even better for me

Guys the first thing we need to find out is if the v922 comes with a buddybox connector cuz if it does we just need to use our transmitter buddyboxing with the hisky transmitter.

basically use the v922 transmitter as our Hisky module.

its way bulkier than the ht8 module but its 20dls that you save for spare parts
