closing up the Horten halves

Over at inverts shop early sat. to close up the Horten. Carbon fiber was used at the seams to close up the halves.

It is a mixture of epoxy, milled glass fibers, glass bubbles and cotton flock. Future airplanes will use an adhesive from west systems to save us the time of making up the mixture.

And then the Giants came to stomp on it... just kidding!







Then cut out the nose gear door:




Then cut out the canopy frame:






Then got all the nose gear structure tack glued and ready to be installed:
