Thanks!
Yeah, that would be cool.
Thinking about some nice embroidered badges in different sizes, too. Or some iron-on badges?
Would you guys be willing to 'donate' for some badges?

That's the idea! I'd do cost + $10 for a decal or two!

A smaller one (like JEM) would be nice on the DLG also!

I will say I love the patch design and I would personally like to see some embroidered patches on shirts or something. the Hat patch was great last time.

I have only one problem. Sicne the patch is generic (no year indication), people might not want to purchase new stuff for each team since nothing will have changed from year to year.

I like the idea of having the year there as well or something to indicate when the support was done and it might give incentive to do it year after year......

just a thought. Luv the work.

How about the initial shield design with no year specified, but then you could add chevrons under it for the years?

See my example . . . of course the size of the year-mark chevrons could be decreased/increased or changed completely, but the idea is the same.

F3K Team could sell new chevrons for each upcoming year and you could have window vinyl and patches of the same design.

I think of the jackets that athletes have that indicate the championship years that they played on the winning team

That is good gor the participants but that woudl reduce sales of shirts and jacvkets in later years.

Think about it, If I supported the team for 2013 and I purchase a jacket. Next, in 2015, all I need to get is a patch. Not nearly as much money going into the hands of the team in 2015 since I won't need to purchase a jacket.

I just do not want the team losing out in subsequent years. It was hard enough for them to go in 2011.

Frank

I like the idea, just not for supporting purchases.

Frank,

I completely agree . . . from a revenue generating standpoint it makes more sense to steer sales by having a "year marked item." I'm simply thinking that there are people who would support the team by buying $10-$15 patches, decals and other small ticket items rather than or in addition to the large ticket items. Have your lofty ticket items like jackets, sun-brellas, button downs etc., but don't forget the small stuff . . .it can really add up.

The chevron could also indicate team sponsor as opposed to team. The chevrons could be different colors based on donation level. I for one only wear team gear for teams I am on. If I am a supporter, I do not aspire to look like a player.
