Contest Results

Score at end of contest -- 9 rounds flown enough for a warm day with wind increasing -- a couple of spectacular dust devils - with planes in it and Scott on top

usual suspects in their usual places

thanks for coming, more donations for our 2013 F3K Team

Hi Dave and Philip,
Thanks for a great contest! I was starting to feel worn out after 6 rounds so decided to rest. It was good to be back in a contest. I hope to be fully recovered from my illness in the next few months.
Take care,
Ray

Thank you Dave and John for pulling together three great meals.

Thanks Philip for running all the scoring with F3K Master. This will finally help to take some load off the scorers who also want to fly the contest.

Another great SAGE contest in the books.

Many thanks to all the SAGE crew for another great weekend. It was a DLG orgy, to the point where my brains ran out my nose.

That last round doesn't really count since most of you guys were sitting it out, but the lesson has sunk in for me: I landed out, still took the heat anyway. Thanks for the pushing and teasing from the sidelines. Think that BTH will be in the X-games next year?

The trip home was the usual: get on I-10, wait for Las Cruces to appear in the windshield. I need to get some audio books in my i-pod.

Mark: everyone was asking after you. I sure hope you make the Blue Skies.

Yours, Greg

Greg,

thanks for the update.

It was a hard on me not to make it to BTH this weekend, but work and grad school are demanding a lot of attention.

To those who asked about me, I thank you for your thoughts! I'll be at Blue Skies over Arizona in two weeks, ready to have to some fun!

Cheers!

Awesome prelude to Blue Skies!
Thank you Dave, Philip, Virginia, John A and the rest of everyone for showing up and having a great time!
Congrats to GMo for winning even while having us throw for him. The All up round in the beginning is where he put the stink on me and I was never able to return the favor.
Conditions were better than usual the whole day but even then there were some heats that we could not max. The food by Dave and John was awesome and thank you Lee for bringing the Don-Q! (The perfect touch for Friday night Piņa Coladas!)
It was great to see Ray doing much better and I'm pretty sure his launch is as high as I've seen it in the past if not higher.
Thank you Greg for making the trip, it's always a pleasure to play DLG's with you.
I can't wait for BSOAZ, it's just around the corner!

I just looked at the final results, saw I came in last. If I signed up, sorry about that didn't mean to. I haven't checked but likely posted here instead of the blue skies thread. Looked like great weather from the pics. Glad you guys had a good time.
