My regularBee is covered in SoLite, but that's a bit too Lite for a biggerBee. Monokote is maybe a tad too heavy and shrink-y here. UK based Solarfilm would be great, but is hard to find over here.

Oddly enough, one of my other favourites - on account of its cheap and works - is 'Towerkote' from guess where? Not many colours, but it does the job and the many models I've covered in it have given me no bad issues.

All my Lazy's have been done in the kit's scalloped trim look - using the cardboard templates I made for my firstBee! The LazySpeedy is a little more freelance, but there's just something about the Clancy Lazytrim that looks too good to leave off. PresentBee is mostly cream with red trimmings.

The fuselage is a little less fiddly

Dillion,

Nice wing. I recommend a 1/8" center joiner laminated from 1/16" ply and 1/16" balsa. It should extend to the W2 rib.

Also the little bit in the aft tip can be eliminated - I added a similar part for some reason in a Speedy Bee wing and it drives me crazy (red arrow in photo).

I would love a copy of it. I will build a Bee in the next year or so and I personally would want ailerons on it.

Began covering

I hope everyone is safe and well. If you could, would you post a note saying your okay from the storm SANDY.

Anyways, I just have bunch of sticks and leaves around my property. I have some very big pines and populars. They held up well, just shed some dead branch. We are fine over all.

I'm post the rudder and elevator I covered. Went with the red and yellow theme. Outlined the red with white pin strip for a more finished look. I suppose the wing is next.

Pin Stripping

The pin stripping I put down is all coming up. What tape should I be using?

Pin stripes are delightful.

Have never been brave enough to try, success here is eagerly awaited.

Loads Okay

Gregg. I just loaded the file from my web site and it seems ok. Take a while to load, very large file. Where else can I park the file? It's 51mgs. Heres the link directly: http://www.rcflyer.us/Plans-ALL/Lazy...nal%20Size.pdf

I had some nice days around here to fly and took advanage of it. I broke a cub I had so have been working on repairs.

Will be back to the Bee very soon.

Get that Bee in the air! I flew mine last weekend in some high winds and had a blast shooting elevators.
