To save some weight, you could use Depron-Aero, and cover it in Mylar, or(what I do) cover it in frosted plastic bags from Whole-foods!

I'd suggest that you build it first (as it is) and then just keep testing with all different settings with and without brakes and then decide if you need them, how big and where..

3M super 77 spray adhesive. Just a SUPER light misting. And on the foam only, that way the parts that should be clear are clear and not clouded over by the spray stuff. It works. I still have the airframe hanging up in my basement.

I think you should try it! It is easier than it looks! It doesn't even have to be symmetric on each side. (see pic of my first milled plane!)

If were talking about a regular sized F3P model of around 800-850mm span your not going to achieve 100-106g without milling unless you use some very exotic equipment to get the performance your after. An unmilled model may perform very differently to a milled one don't forget. I've been this route and can tell you a milled model will fly much slower than an unmilled of the same design and weight.

Wingspan is 32inches or 812mm and Fuse length is 885mm or 34.8 inches
