Hey Rick, I used Hitec 625mg on mine but that might be overkill. I think the HS-225MG Metal Gear Mighty Mini Servo would work just fine. I used 4 large hinges in the head.

A couple of these will do:

or

Medium or Large hinges work great.

Hey Billy-Bob I have a couple of those and, while they have enough power to pull the tooth out of your mouth, they take their time doin' it. They are about half the speed and I need all the speed I can get.

How about these? http://www.headsuprc.com/servlet/the...G-Metal/Detail

I have never used that particular brand but everything I have ever purchased from HURC has been very good.

Just got an email from Joe that my Kellet Profile kit is on the way.

Being an old pack rat I found everything but the servos in my bins. I also found an outrunner I bought from HURC in '08 but never used. It is a 3548-10 and should put out about 400 watts with an APC 13 X 6.5 E and a 2200 3S pack with a CC Tbird 54 ESC. Does this sound like a decent fit?

OMG! Those servos are monsters for the price. I may have to get me some.
More Kelletts, awesome!
Your hardware sounds more than adequate for this bird. You'll love it.

I was looking at those but they are out of stock. They also have some under the brand "Solar" that I looked at. Anywho, I went ahead and ordered the ones from Hurc since I needed some other stuff. I just love the HURC fast shipping and $2 fee.

I think I looked at the Corona's on the Hobby Partz site and they looked good also.

I think my concerns with the metal hinge might be the weight and my experience with the metal hardware store hinges might be a little bit of looseness or "slop" in the pin fit.

The piano hinge that is sold by length is not heavy and does not have any slop....and the good thing is that it can be dissasembled for maintanance.
The CS-238 MG comes standard with the side mounts and they only cost about $ 6.00 ....... I now have had 20 flights from my model.....all good.
