In the mountains? We are at 350' above sea level. Hasn't snowed here in 30 years. We did have a pretty nasty winter here last week. Almost .5" of rain!

Thanks Dave. Great Autogyro. The GoPro camera is about 1"x1.5"x2.25" and weighs about 100gms. The Kellett easily carries that and a 3000ma Lipo.

Funny how the camera distorts the view though. I was never more than 100' up and most of the time at 30' or less but it appears to be a lot higher. It is fun to watch the rudder work. I was kicking it around pretty hard but the view onboard doesn't look like it.

Now this is a pretty similar set up to the one Don was using...this time with a key cam 808 #11... this records in HD also . Sorry it is so long ....tried to shorten it but the Video god's were against me After the flight I noticed that I had thrown a tip weight, so that's why there is a bit of vibration. Another thing I can see is that the stab on my model is not vibrating compared to Don's because of the braces that I fitted..... you will also notice the perfect six point landing.
Happy Landings
Chris....

Nice flight Chris, I see what you mean by a six pointer, a wing and a prayer plus some other bits. I do envy your flying site and weather, back in blighty its been raining cats and dogs and very windy so not much flying going on.
What is the white covering in the fields, I assume its sand?

With seasons greetings,

Chas

Great video Chris. I've made a lot more 6 point landings than 3 pointers. Course, I've made a ton of 12 point "landings" flying AGs.

Next is to get video of a full loop. I tried on mine but it always ended with a snap roll at the top.

Here we go again ....this time from the other side of the model I even managed a touch and go with a loop { that's for Don } and as usual a perfect landing. I laid the model on it's side so you guys could see my method of tip balancing................yeer right..... .......... The flying field looks pretty good from up there. Sorry about the sound track.....For some reason the video recorded with no sound...........I'll have to video ...her indoors
Happy Landings

O.K. Chris, this is the second time I've looked at the bottom of your blades and I can swear I see coins taped to the bottom.....a little tip weight there? CHEATER! So does it help? Are you using american currency or something more stable?
