Just got back from Thialand and looked at my DLG's for the first time in over 2 weeks. I missed them.

I replaced an elevator servo on one of my Blasters, then went out to see where things were.

Under overcast skies with gusty breezes 10-12 mph, there was serious, steady lift off the nearby medical center where I fly. After some trim flights to get neutral elevator set once more, off we went!

Life is good - seriously good.

Yours, Greg

That's cool. Open to anyone? (seems to be only European entries so far). Unfortunately I'm plane-less for at least the next few weeks, so will miss task #1, at least. Maybe next year.

Got some nice flight's in with my Orion. I was very tempted to DLG it off "A" mountain but didn't. No wind there at all today. So I did some repair's on my Weasel and a Hi-Tec single stick Tx.

It was cold, breezy and the field was soaked, but we flew all day.

Could be the last time till spring

Really, Pat. We've had excellent flying weather for the past several days and are suppose to have more for the rest of the week. Some of what were getting must be headed your way.

It was nice here Thurs,Fri and Saturday. (working/working/ should have gone flying)
Started out nice Sunday, just a bit of light fog.
Then it was like a switch was turned on and the wind came up and blew the fog away, but it stayed windy all day after that.

Add in the standing water on the field, wet grass and equally wet shoes and it was not the nicest day out there.

But flying this late in the year, you take what you can get.

Snow in the forecast for next weekend

Pat

Got to fly with Marco at bfp- some of the nicest conditions you could hope for.
Flew cx2-#2 for the first time since installing pushrods and everything works great!

I put mine in the garage, after seeing the Chandler Bowl was being swarmed by warbirds after work.
