I did a little bit of flying with my DLG this afternoon. Not really any lift to speak of, then a 7 minute waft came off of one of the neighbors roof. After that it was just playing in the flats. Packed it up and cut the grass.

Flew my new P2 for half an hour today. Got a few thermal bumps and was able to almost maintain a couple times, but never climbed. Still learning this plane's language.

Finished my TS3 build. Programmed the radio and finished bench testing. She fly's for the first time at the contest this Saturday. Hope it flys well.

I looked at my Stobel & Neos... No flying, so I bought a new Blaster ST 3 to keep the addiction flowing !!

I charged my DLG last evening.

Redid aileron linkages on frankenplane....again. trying to fashion an elevator mount as well. Finished a CA fix on leading edge on the Helios. Hopefully get a lil time on the Helios this evening after work.

Headed to Durham with the Osirus and XP-4.

Had a short lunch-time fly today. Perfect weather, slight breeze, clear skies, 80 degrees.
Only threw twice. My kind of day. The Stark is flying very well.

Flew it with good friends and some new DLGer's . Lift took some time to build probably has something to do with the smokey haze in the air. Played some AULD and it was either an elevator ride to the stratosphere or scratch at launch height.

Flew with Robin for about 2 and a half hours (with a 15 minute break to search for his phone, which had launched itself into the tall grass at some point. Unfortunately it was set on vibrate so we had to listen very hard...).
Lift was such that we maybe had a half a dozen launches that didn't hook up with lift. One of those magical days when you could sky out from a 20' save. Temperatures only in the mid 80's so we could fly in the big field instead of hiding in the shade of the treeline.

I drove my dlg to a contest with some of the best pilots in the country/world. Hung out for a bit, left the plane in the trunk, then drove home.

Flew my Stobel V3... 3yrs old and still rocks.
Then flew my Neos... Once I replace those wimpy d47, this plane will rock so much more.
Then flew my Xplorer... This planes rocks, too, but at more slower, gentler way

Finally had a fair late afternoon to toss the old girl only to find out I lost my camber settings I messed around trying to find out what I did and found nothing. I wound up reprogramming a new model. It's working now but I still wish I knew what I did to screw it up in the first place.

It's weird because I still had flaps and launch settings

It looks like Sunday before the weather will be conductive for further testing. Oh, my launches really sucked tonight
