Hi Everybody;

Several decades back in the 27mhz. days we used ribbons/flags and colored clothespins (mine was yellow) to keep from interferring with each others frequency while flying.

My new 2.4ghz. system came with a red flag/ribbon but I have no idea what it means yet. Can someone enlighten me?

Inqiuiring minds want to know. Oh! And so do I. LOL

OK, Again I will answer my own post.

The Red ribbon/flag denotes the 2.4ghz frequencie, period, no channel.

Just as I told you the last time you asked this question a day or so ago. Why ask if you're not going to bother reading the answers ?

BTW the red flag/ribbon was suggested at one time but it's no longer required or even recommended. So it actually means nothing.

At a guess the red ribbon just means you're on the 2.4GHz frequency band. In my country it would be a black ribbon (or nothing) but I'm guessing it's different wherever you are .

OK, but that's not quite the way I understood it until I read the article. I was trying to understand why they sent one with my radio.
