2nd annual multirotor fest

Hi guys

I am putting on the second multirotor "fest" in southern New England in early-mid October. Anyone interested please let me know at
signguybob@gmail.com

the location is two eighty nine Locast street,Swansea Ma, behind "the Ice Cream Barn". We have a large field, with high grass, so airplanes ( if you have them) will need to be hand launched. and please keep them to parksize/sailplanes, and electric only.

there are plenty of places within 2 miles to eat ( McD's, Wendy's, Dunkin Donuts, 5 guys) and there is also an farm fresh ice cream stand at the site!

Last year we had 6 pilots, lets double that this year!!!!

This is a VERY laid back event. No AMA required,no pressure, just fun flying and trading of ideas/tech knowledge.

Let me know if you are interested at the above email.......

Thanks Bob. Let us know when you have a date in mind.
Hope I can make it. Fun to meet some other multi flyers.
Could bring my trusty AP plane as well.

looks like the 13th of October, a Saturday, hopefully with good weather.we'll be there from 10:00am till ??? Rain date is the next Saturday. I'll have 120v power available in my truck. Also, a computer with multiwii software in case you need to change settings.

Last year was a blast, but we need more pilots. Come out and fly!!

Drat ! Too far away from the U.K.

Wow! Tim has finally launched himself. Just need to get some elevation and it will be a winner.

Here's a pseudo build thread. http://ampedbikes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2229
Here are the plans. (I modified it...) http://atomiczombie.com/SilentSpeeds...20Scooter.aspx

It's a 50v 16000mah Lipo powered brushless wheel hub. It can maintain 22mph on the flats with a range of around 32-35 miles.

I forgot to mention.
Best crash / most expensive crash / funniest crash... gets a free large ice cream cone on me.

I'm getting 4 quads and a tricopter ready for the meet. I'll also have an AP flying wing and a FOX glider. I should have a trainer setup by then too to let newbies try the quad.

You don't need a quad or multi to attend, everyone is welcome.

Okay, but Bob's best crash contest doesn't apply to my bike! Lol...

I think I'll bring my FPV rig now so that I can get an ice creme cone!
