If the rules were opened a bit (any mast, any deck, rudder that fit a pattern) all that would be needed is for someone to make the bare hull, fin and bulb....just like the Robinson's are doing with their SBOD project. Hey, maybe we could get them to do it????

Giovanni,
I think the class owns the molds. A builder would be better as you can get more continuity in construction and dimensions. What would be best for the class?? Ryan

When the weather looks "ify", as it does for this Sunday, be sure to check the SMYC website (http://sacmyc.net/) at about 08:30 regarding whether the regatta has been canceled. It would be the pits if you drove for 2.5 hrs and found no one there.

Infinity's are up first with the SBOD's last.

Giovanni Jim,
Any chance of getting some I54's out on the lake for an "informal" race this winter? I really like sailing my I 54, took it out on Sunday in San Leandro bay and it sails so great. Think about it.

Today was beer can race three. Two infinitys and several SBs. The Infinitys were really fast and took one two in the first several races. Fast boats and fun sailing.
NAC update, looks like our championship will be last weekend of August. Lets go
At it and get some boats on the line. Ryan

To all, stand by, date for nationals may change. The date that has been selected is during a planned closure of the bay bridge. I hope that does not scuttle plans for nationals here at SFMYC. Hope to see some of you out at next informal race at SFMYC on Feb. 16th. Ryan
