Landing gear needed

Ok, I need a new landing gear, has anyone else broken one and what did you use for a replacement
Does any one know of any other that will fit, it just snapped at the curve just above where the wheel is mounted, didn't even break a nylon bolt
I don't need any other parts just the carbon fiber gear.

Broke both my landing bolts today (this time it was a pretty stupid landing) but the bolts work as advertised in my case. Nice clean break ontop of the spacer, so very easy to fix. Not sure what gear you could use lowkeylaidback, but someone may know. I keep smiling at the manic spin/tumble combos this machine pulls off!

I got away with a tail touch/drag at the 1:00 mark and, as usual, decided to push my luck some more. There's only one way these things turn out - in a durability test.

Only a broken prop and a torn SFG tip - not too bad. I'm starting to get really comfortable with this plane, and she's tougher than I originally thought. This isn't necessarily good for its longevity.

Thanks Jboy!

You might try the 48" EF Edge LG. Its just at 3/4 inch wide as it fits in the planes LG slot under the fuselage of my EF Edge. As for the holes, if they don't match up you can always redrill them and fill in the others with epoxy. I used 3DH 48" Velox LG in my old EF 48: MXS when they broke and filled in the holes as descibed above. Worked great. Personally the 3DH Velox LG was much stouter than the stock EF MXS LG if I remember correctly. Velox LG has straight legs however. Just a thought. If I ever have to replace the ones on this plane, which I'm patiently waiting for, I'll go that route. Hope all this helped some.

Hi twodogsdave - #16 Keychain cam. Works great. The crack pitts video I just shot was rendered poorly in a programe, but if I render it right, it looks pretty decent as is. I sometimes boost colour, but no real need.
Angle it up on a hat, zip tie it through the brim and good to go: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1556994

Awesome Uptime, many thanks

I flew my Edge again this morning.. It is such a precise little machine! Wind was blowing about 12kts-15kts but it was still a joy to fly.. Love this plane!

I have not received mine yet, but wondering if something like this might make for a good LG mod?

How do you do those?
Just think of them as a sort of reverse blender looks amazing in the air and takes all of a few minutes to learn
