Been reading this thread with interest, so purchased one.

Decided to try the EMax GT2820 805KV(3s) on it. Been happy with GT2826 710kv (4s) on my Sebart Sebach 30e so far

That's probably a great candidate for the 14x7 prop, or even more.

Was going to try a 13x6.5 to start with.Think it may be 850KV, typo in what I am reading. 40A or so burst

Haven't been impressed at how hot my packs get with the Dualsky XM3542EA-5 that I use on my Hokusei 48" Sbach. (recommended motor for the Hokusei) although vertical is great, better than my Stock setup PA 260 on same APC13x6.5

once again, thank you for your help, guys

I actually forgot that there is such tool in my workshop because I didnīt use it for long time

it worked quite well and it only took some few seconds to trim it down, the wood around the tube suffered a little bit since it was not really good visible where the tube ends, but at the and I had the desired result
Looks good, Denis .

I need to put the 13x6.5 back on and test with it also.
Finally got my watt meter and did the test again with a 13x6.5

50 amps

Maiden finally complete. Wonderful flying airplane. LG held up fine for the 3 flights I put in. Used 3 steel bolts, along with gorilla glue and some extra reinforcements for the LG. Using the Omega 130 gram motor with a 14x7, plenty of power but will have to watch batt. temps. I do however wish it was about 3 oz's lighter. AUW is 45.60 oz's. My EF 48" Edge is a kite in weight comparison. Sometimes too lite but I prefer lite setups. Now on to the Slick.

Well I crushed it!!

After many flights and tons of fun, I have, at long last finished off my first Edge airframe..... kinda,.....the wings, tailfeathers and canopy are all good but a way too hard pancake landing has just finished off the fuse, it went from a great flying bird to a toothpick factory in a matter of seconds

But in my defense
I HAVE A SPARE AIRFRAME !!!!!!!!!!
And I promise to have the same amount of fun with it! Maybe even more!
Let the beatings begin
And I must remember to order another airframe!

We need pics of the carnage so we can do a crash investigation. That way we can tell how badly you F'ed up. Lol
We are however saddened by your loss.
Brief moment of silence please.
