Hahahah fair call I'll sit back down. Ablett placed 6th for Brownlow, I guess it's hard to poll votes when you're getting flogged every week

G

PS regarding my Little Butch - Hobbyking CS resolved my DOA servo issue within two days and are crediting my account, looks like I jagged a good one. I'm not too fussed about the wire showing through the landing gear, it's not too noticeable when it's airborne

Flew Little Butch again today and I set the timer for 12 mins, while he managed to survive on that much time, his battery was being pushed to the limits, so I have settled on 10 mins flights which is plenty of time, the unfortunate thing is I have managed to crack the right wheel pant and allows the axle to come out, so I will have to glue the axle in it's hole, I am not sure if it is brittle plastic or my not so perfect landings, more than likely the latter. With 8 min flights I was putting in consistently 950-960 mah so as I mentioned 10 mins is good and allows time for go arounds.

Oh just to let you know "don't have a pint of Jack Daniels and Coke on an empty stomach and type post's in threads" it takes way longer than it should and most of the time you don't make sense.

Any body for a drink

Shaun.

You were right Shaun,he didn't let me down maiden at long last is done!
It was to be honest a bit too windy but the best chance ive had so far.
Butch aint the best in wind but none the less i loved every minute of it.
Handled the grass strip very well for take offs and landings, which were nice and easy and seems to have plenty of grunt at full throttle
Im not to sure it would be an ideal first plane as it seems capable of some quite aerobatic moves but i will have to get a better idea on a less windy day.
still he flys fantastic and im well happy with my latest durafly beauty.

Well done Mark, I think he will put a smile on your dial, also you should get 10mins flight times.

I pulled the trigger on this plane yesterday from hobbyking. Are you all using the recommended 2200 3s packs for your ~10 min flights? That is great in my book! I've been looking for a nice-looking, high-wing, plane that I can just relax with, but still isn't too boring. Thank you all for the great comments, which led to my purchase.

Yep 10 mins on the standard 2200 3s, LB will not disappoint, he can fly gentle and then show off with acrobatics that has me grinning.
