Wheels are rubber and big enough for a maintained grass field (relatively flat and short grass), I haven't tried to remove the pants either, scuffed them up a little on landings today.

Today's flight report. Two 10 min flights with battery to spare. Flies beautifully in calm conditions. Did some rolls and loops, no problem. A few touch and goes too.

A bloke at the field has a durafly se5a, we did some near formation slow and low passes and some circuits. Both planes perform very similarly.

I'm convinced 40% rudder to ail mix is the shizz! Turns are graceful and slow.

Still climbing at half throttle, so maybe tail heavy. Landings need more speed and precision than the durafly Trojan.

Still a great plane may get out again this arvo

10 min flight at managed throttle circa 50% batteries show 3.9v per cell

If it only climbs under throttle and the cg is right then you might need to add some extra down thrust or mix throttle to down elevator.

I needed both when I went power crazy on the little foam Decathlon HK sells.
My funcub is the same.

Well I have put 10 - 8min flights on today and Little Butch is a hoot, it can be flown real scale or be thrown about the sky at full pace, LB is very acrobatic so much so the nesting magpies gave up in disgust as I could out manoeuvre them and fly faster, that had me grinning Agreed about the rudder mix, I don't have the issue of climb on full throttle and I reckon Brett is right about adding some more down thrust. Little Butch drew a lot of comments at the club today about how well it flies, how good LB looks and the ability to hang on the prop. i am sold on this plane, a video was taken of one flight so I will post when available.

sounds like another fantastic plane from durafly
ive got to wait 2-3 weeks for mine now as hk has opened an investigation with ems as it would seem mine has gone walk about in shanghai.

Sorry Mark, I had that happen to a Durafly DH88 Comet that never made it out of China, I know it is not much consultation but LB is worth the wait.

Hi Shaun, I hope you don't mind me asking but how long did it take hobbyking to resolve this for you?.I was first told 2/3 weeks which is bad enough but after opening a request have been told 2/3 months!!.

Hmm, how many Shauns from WA own a Durafly Monocoupe?

Does seem to drag its tail around when being yanked and banked. Maybe some aileron differential will help.
Also, maybe its just the camera lens but the wing appears to have some anhedral. This may be contributing to the instability in the wind.

Has good "chuckaboutability" though and would make a good addition to my little squadron. I just need to see it appear in the Oz w/house before I'll hit the buy button.

Great vid it sums up this plane perfectly, well done. Pity about the dockers hat at the end though.

You are on to it Brett, that was me, I am sorry to give everyone nightmares, that flight was about the fourth one I think and there was a fair breeze which could of made LB drag his tail, my Tx setting for that flight are aileron 85%, expo 35%, elevator 80%, expo 30% with aileron/rudder mix 50% also both of those take offs where with the wind, I will be changing the settings to see what works for my fly style.
