Yes, the chaos is much sexier, but then again I never liked the mig-25. I made an F-15 back in the early 80's that looked similar to this. It was very f-ugly looking in the air. I ended up making a 2nd more scale version which looked much better but didn't fly all that well. Before investing hundreds of hours in a plug and mold you might want to hack out a lost foam one first.

Back in the 80's there was a company (AGC) which made an F-16 kit that was similar in concept to the chaos. It was thin had a very non-scale wing and it flew pretty well. I had a couple of them, they were the hot rods of Bluff Cove until me and dutchy started making our warbirds.

You know they are looking for a replacement for the T38 and have had talks about the replacement but it is unfunded, kind of like our builds.
DARPA has an interesting contest going on...
The replacement combat landing troop carrier for the USMC got shelved after spending a few $B so they now have a design competition going to get some out of the box thinking going and they are soliciting non-industry types to design the subsystems in a multi-design competition.
Winner get some great work ahead...

Small company in California now builds some front line stuff for the UAV fleet which was out of the box thinking...

It's funny how this stuff turns out. I put maybe 20-30min into drawing up the Chaos fuse. It was such a quick and dirty design yet it turned out pretty good.

That Vigilante is such a great looking plane.

got my Chaos tail feathers in the bag this morning, also the zephyr Horiz, no reason to waste a bagging session on just two pieces!

Well I came home from work today and there was a two boxes on my porch!!

One has balsa skins and leading edges

The other was for a guy named Douglas

But since I haven't heard that name in 30 years ... I opened it up!!
Looks like there will be "CHAOS" in San Juan Capistrano" ( and two other unnamed places)
