I had the same kind of thought when I first posted that pic. Looks like a 3656 in a Mean Machine.

Been awhile since I posted, but got the serious stuff completed. stuffing tube sleeve, motor mounted, servo driveline complete, initial Strut height and angle set, stuffing tube bent, shaft cut. water inlets and outlets complete.
Need to design and install the speedo mount though it will likely be similar to what Bill has done in the past. LOTS of soldering coming up.

You do have some soldering to do on that one between esc connections and then the jumpers for the motor. I don't think those come pre made do they?

The motor is supplied with a few parts that need to be assembled. LOL.

Decided to go with a rail mount for the Speedo. Just two simple pieces of aluminum angle. This way everything is easily removeable from the top and I can also vary the height via different standoff heights. I need to stop by the hardware store tommorrow and get some 1/2 inch standoffs.

The important thing is you admitted to it before getting caught.

PS, forgot to mention, it's looks good too.

You're a week ahead of yourself Ray. Next "scheduled" run isn't til 10/14
Should be no problem to have by then.
