Billy, The red and orange look great. I like the xXx also - green - should have them change it to the light green like the large SM Viper. Dark green has never looked good on an airplane. I ordered blue and I'm hoping it's the same blue they used on the HPAT Viper - kind of a slight metallic. I guess I'm getting my order last since there haven't been any pics of those yet . Yes - servo's want to get those on order while I'm waiting - thanks for all the pics - keep em coming.

I'm guessing some DS3421's would do well in the wings. Not sure about the stab/rudder, probably need some slim HS-225's. Just guessing guys - don't go buying these

I'm sure 3421's will do a great job, and is most certainly a safe bet; but I have no desire to put a $90 servo in when it's not needed.

I'll be using DS3421's for flaps, Futaba S3150 on ailerons and Graupner DS3288 on elevator and rudder, oh and a Hitec 5245 for nosewheel steering. I'm not all that big on brand loyalty Besides, I had some of these left over after cleaning out a crashed plane.

I was just looking at the Electra recommended servo's - might be a good idea to go with a little more torque on the flaps ?

You don't think a DS3421 is strong enough? I don't really see a problem with using them, I've had good luck using them in other larger planes.

I have to agree that I do not believe 75 oz/in (6v) is adequate for the flaps. Your DS3288 at 107 oz.in would be more suitable. If it were not for the form factor I would reverse the placement

Here is what I've got in mind right now, I'm going to go high voltage and run everything off a 7.4v Lipo or a 6.6v Life battery and pair it with a JR1221 and my JR 11X. I'm assuming the JTM retracts can handle 7.4v.

Aileron and Flaps: Savox SG-0220MG $29.99 each, Hitech HS-5496MH $34.99 each or JR HS821 HV $29.99 each.
Elevator: Hitec HS-7245MH $69.99 each, JR DS398HV $74.99 each or JR DS390HV $74.99
Rudder: Depends on what will fit here. I'm guessing a JR DS398HV or Hitec HS-7245MH.
Nose Steering: Again depends on what will fit here. This could go either way, small with a HS-5087MH for $39.99 or Large with a Savox SG-0220MG for $29.99 or somewhere in between.

No problem reversing the placement, I don't really see the shape of the DS3288's as a problem for use on flaps though, I have ordered some mounting frames for both of these servos from www.servorahmen.de so fitting them in the plane should be pretty easy.
