Exactly!! I went with a Feibao Eurofighter instead. Scale ~1/9.5 which makes it 65" long and 47" wingspan. Emtpy weight of the kit 4.61lb. Perfect for Kolibri T25 power

To each his own I guess. I would have waited. Deltas don't fly anywhere near as well as a wing and tail.

Even though meant for twin 90mm or one 110mm EDF It will be powerd by twin Lambert Kolibri turbines. A much lighter setup, but more costly of course. Build thread over on RCuniverse, might do one over here too in the turbine forums as the build progresses.

These kind of planes are perfect for converting to Kolibri turbine power, but not all of them, just the good manufactured ones. The Hobbyking ones simply are too heavy with too much weight in the wrong areas hence wanting to know the weights at an early stage. I know the 90mm Viper was just about OK, so the new one might be even better.

I even have a solution in progress for flying this kind of big bird on a single 9oz Kolibri... so not asking just to bug TS.

Henke, I understand your love for the Kolibri turbines, but do you really need to post it all over the internet? This is a thread for the new JTM sportjet, not Kolibri advertising.

Almost 250 posts and almost half a year without managing to put out the specs, then beeing questioned for not buying it calls for an explanation, which I provided. Like it or not

Posts of any kind draw viewers who are looking for the JTM jet, so I'd rather call it helping selling airplanes then Kolibri advertising.

Posting pics of products that have nothing to do with the Topic of this thread is commnly known as "Hijacking the Thread".I go here to get updates of the JTM XXX,not Fei Bao or the turbine you posted.

The first one arrived today!

Here are some pictures of the trial fit of the surfaces.
The quality is flawless.

Here are the pictures including 2 on the scales.
One is metric and I also made a picture for you non metric peasants.

Please ask if you need additional information or pictures.

Kind regards,

Cliff
