Billy - sweet looking paint scheme - All it needs is some dark smoke on the canopy and some silver tail cone paint and she's ready to go electra racing. I'm hoping JT's taking the time to get some adhesion on the paint this go - the only thing left for them to do, to be the best fabricators in the East.

I have one in orange on order, and will definately be tinting the canopy when I get my xXx, it's going to make it look even better.

Assuming you're using Tamiya - don't get any on the painted surfaces - wrinkle city. Don't worry about messing up - I've had to repaint a couple JTM canopies due to runs, and it easily comes off with laquer thinner and leaves canopy crystal clear and ready to re-coat. Nice, light coates, especially the first few - yes, you'll need several coats to get it dark enough to look good. Orange Tamiya won't be dark enough, unless you add a finishing coat of Smoke, then it will look very cool. I did that on my Habu 32 and it came out awesome.

I`m thinking (hoping) that might be a decal that can be removed. Then I guess the fuselage stripe could just be extended.

So if he posts the weight next week and it's super light you aren't getting one just becaus it took a while? Haha. It always takes longer than they say to get everything in and ready for sale. Give them a break. We all know it flys well so what difference does it make really?

The prototype came in at 13lb without batts.

This new JT ship looks and is sized a lot like a kit I built and flew to 191 mph(diving passes thru a light trap) back in 1992. Called "Terminator", it came out of Perth, Australia. I ran all JMP innards and O.S. 91. Inlets were 95% FSA with no splitters. Rear end was 78%FSA. Fuse had a chine on the sides like BVM. AUW with glow and pneumatics was a tad under 13 lbs. The flier I sold it to terminated it long ago. Maybe it's been reincarnated by JT and would move out with a 12S Dyn-e-max system.
