I have one, it's a lot of fun. The only issue mine had was one of the shocks came without oil, it had leaked out. I've replaced the front shocks with the metal replacement ones and it works great.

I've also added the drift conversion kit which makes it a lot of fun.

The only thing is - it's not an off-road car. It was in the off-road section but that is in error.

You can put a hotter motor into the car with a 3S pack, but you are just going to rip up the gears.

Great little car just the way it is!

Yes, it's best with 2S and stock parts - go to dirt and you can controll the car as you want. With 3S it's crazy to run it - too fast, too fragile for this.

I've upgraded the shocks to the metal, oil filled ones and it drives much better!

You may think it's an error, but Hobby King says it's a RALLY Car, which means it's meant for the dirt, just like real Rally cars, which it does quiet a very nice job of even compared to other Rally Cars from Traxxas, AE and others in the 1/16 to 1/18 scale size. Two years later, it's STILL listed in the OFF-ROAD category for cars on Hobby King USA Warehouses because that's where it belongs.

It can be improved with better shock oil in the 60wt range and better tires for club level Rally racing. Ps, keep it 2S Lipo unless you're going to change the motor and ESC to something more robust. But if you just work on improving the suspension for Rally racing, you'll be quite competative IN THE DIRT (or Track).

This is for the benefit of current and future readers to correct mis-information.

This is for the
