Well these wheels are not as soft as the originals but they are equal, one's not harder/softer than the other.

Paul, how do like the Icon A5 compared to the Beaver....it certainly is sharp looking. Is it's flying & water takeoff/landing characteristics similar?

Thanks,

Jerry

Totally different flying performances , the Icon can take more wind on the water and you can speed around like a jetski too , both great planes and easy to fly

Still snowing here in my part of Alaska. It warmed up to 22 or so today but earlier in the week we were near 0. I hate March! The sun is up until 9ish but it's still so freaking cold! Picked up 5 or 6 inches of soft fluffy snow this week.

Come on April!

One of the reasons I don't buy from places like HK.

Until now I have had pretty good luck with them, especially with their lipo batteries. I guess customer service is not one of their strong points.

Out here in Saskatchewan we are also getting hit pretty hard by old man winter. This spring there will be so much water around I will be able to fly off floats in just about every low spot.

Awesome vids, nice flying location as well. Cant wait to get mine in the air, seems like every time I have time its windy, or bad weather.

With the plane upside down, like to change the battery, the esc is on the left and the receiver is on the right. I install the battery so the main leads are coming out on the receiver side and stuff them down inside in a sort of "horseshoe" in the area behind the firewall. The hatch stays on without any issues for me with them this way.
Thanks, I'll bookmark these as a possibility. Price is reasonable, and if I buy six or so, shipping and 'pickup costs' for me would be worth it. Of course, they are out of stock in the US warehouse...but I can't go get them in Lewiston till mid april anyway...and am concerned that if I get batteries over here in the UK, they might not let me on the plane with them coming back to Canada!
What kind of flight times are you getting at 'scale' speeds...and no aerobatics!! (although a Beaver Is capable...just makes the passengers scream a lot
