Hans - Could you possibly measure and post the diameter of the Pratt & Whitney engine decal on your cowling? Looking into getting some made up. Thanks! ~ Robin

Hans...I had a flap that would not go up all the way (maybe not to the degree of yours) and I just sanded/trimmed/blue printed as needed all the spots that were preventing it. See where its hitting and fix it. Unless yours is way different than mine it should not be a big deal...Tim

The diameter is 20.5 mm + the eagle's wingtips (eagle has it's head forward on both sides)

Actually I can push it back/up freely, but then the very left (outer) hinges make it spring back again

I agree with the other guys. Mine had the same problem and I could not see an easy way to fix it. I contacted Flyzone and they sent me a set of wings. Probably the best customer service I've ever received!
Just tell them you have a flap that will not retract all the way.

One of my flaps would not go up all the way and all I did was clean around the hinges with a #11 Exacto blade and it works fine now. Sometimes a little bit of glue gets in the workings and messes up the hinge movement.

Hans - Thanks for the info, I appreciate it!

Paul - I have both a MAS 10 x 6 x 3 and a 10 x 7 x 3 on the way as I've seen both used on this model - do you think the 10 x 7 might be too much of a load? I also ordered a water rudder replacement set so I can start fiddling around with it. Here's a sketch of one way you could pull it off! Sorry for the quality, the crayons in my CAD program (MS Paint) are getting pretty dull! I'm no engineer so if anyone has better or alternate ideas, I'd love to hear your input! ~ Robin

Hi all,
Can any one tell me the height and width of the N number on the side of the fuselage on the Flyzone Beaver? I'm trying to figure out how much room I have in the white portion of the fuselage (I'm working on some alternate markings. Thanks in advance! ~ Robin

Paul - Thanks for the dimensions.
I can't wait to get my hands on this plane - it's sure going to be a long month or so! ~ Robin

Just by looking at the pic, to me it looks like the aileron is a bit too high.

Yes, the sileron may be slightly to high, but it can be easily adjusted. The flap sits uneven and cannot be adjusted.
Now they ( Staufenbiel ) want me to send the wings back.
