I just received the Banana Hobby SSS, 95" wing span, 6 servos, 40 amp ESC, 1250KV out runner, and all associated parts. $140!!! How can they ever sell such a great quality plane for such a low price? The only problem I had assembling it was the the control rods on the flaps were too long and I had to shorten them and add new "Z" bends at the end. First flight will be later this week, but it's a beautiful looking plane.

More to come, if I don't put it in on the first flight

Mine should be here Thursday. Keep me posted. I live 30 miles from the LHS, I work 15 from there. It would be nice to know about any suprises or suggested mods in advance. By the way have you seen this vid of the tail surface mod?

My flying buddy just got his,great solid plane,but the motor mount was installed so crooked it is pointing way left if looking at plane from back. So he will see what can be done with banana hobby come Tuesday. So sad as it looks to be a great plane !

Sounds like an easy fix. Wondering if it may not have been intentional. For $130 it is still a steal. Heading over to main discussion.

The SSS does look good and looks like it would be a ton of fun...nice large size, appears to fly well and you can put cameras all over that darn thing.... Seems like a good deal for the $140 price.
