Yeah. Multiwii is plug and play, with 1 adjustment for the gyro on that axis. Multiwii is a little less plug and play, and uses a PID loop. So it really depends on wether you want more features and adjustability or just plug and play

MegaPirate as far as I know need a bigger ATMega chips ... with multiple serial ports (but this is a details) ... but it require bigger memory then 32kb of Flash.
Still MultiWii, can be used for import some MegaPirate functions ... as soon I'm happy with GPS holding, I will add some basic navigation on MultiWii 2.1 ... my version is only 25k ... so I have 5k free for add some stuffs ... and in 25k I have already the GPS support over the stock serial interface ... without the need to use a i2c gps board Tchuss e_lm_70 |

I have two questions about my HK MultiWii V2 Board
Q#1 - When I run MultiWii Conf 2.1, I get Semi Flat output line data for about 30 secs after Calibrating (Acc & Mag)...then all of a sudden the lines shift.(see below):
Is this a normal occurance? Q#2 - When I do a Field Calibration (rt stick pulled all the way back & Throttle to lower left corner) shouldn't I see that calibration occur on the screen while running MW Conf?? If so what am I doing wrong? I have had 2 flights with very dissapointing results...especially when I turn on Alt Hold. Copter heads to the ground. I'm using HK MultiWii SE V2..with MW 2.1 software - in Tricopter Mode |

But, you will have to make/compile your own firmware from the multiwii 2.1 arduino code Mainly you need to set the config.h file for match your multicopters and your wishes ... plus I'm afraid you need to create the definition of this board, since I'm not sure this is already in the list in the def.h file Tchuss E_lm_70 |
