Fried brand new 900 MHz system?

I purchased this used from a fellow RCG member. I got it wired up and working just fine. I had my son take the camera, Vtx and battery on a walk down the street to check the range. When he turned around he touched the Vtx to some part on the camera and heard a pop. I lost the picture and can't get it fixed. I used the GoPro from my other setup as a camera but can't get a picture either.

Is the Vtx and camera fried?

Here are some pic's. Nothing looks burnt and it doesn't smell like the magic smoke has been let out.

If there was no case to the camera (like in the pic), then I'd say the camera is done.
The vtx case is grounded and if it touch something positive on the camera board. That could of been the sound he heard. IMO
You might be able to fix or not..
Id say the vtx should be ok but you never know.
When you power the vtx up with antenna on does it get warm ?

Vtx still gets warm. I would not be that bummed if just the camera was dead as its junk anyway.
