I need EDF sizing help and info
I have a project that looks promising for an EDF. To fit within regs, I need to use a 20A fuse between my batteries and motor and wanted to know if it would be practical to use an EDF with this current limit, and if practical, what size range should I be looking in to attain maximum performance with 20A?

Battery weight is your main limitation. A 29 cell pack of Elite 1500 NiMH cells weighs just under 1.5lb.
Next question is what kind of performance do you want - maximum static thrust, highest speed, longest duration?
With a Wemotec Minifan Pro and a Mega 16/15/7 motor you should get about 600W@18A, 38oz static thrust and 130mph+ efflux velocity. You will need a high voltage ESC.
