first nitro 3rd plane

i am moving from electric to nitro!!!! finally.

my lhs has a great planes cherokke .60 for 350, selling my dx5 some servos and a reciver i can bring it down too 250.

is that a good deal (keep in mind i need field gear and fuel)

or is there any other suggestions you make?

I don't tink so.
1st off it's not a 3D plane.
Are you an experienced 3D pilot?
If you want a 3D nitro you may want to think about a profile.

He's not looking for 3 D....does the cherokee come RTF? engine and all, including the transmitter? if so it's a good deal

no its everything but tx and rx but i have a dx6i and reciver so i would be selling tx/rx anyways so you would ay go get it?

the cherokee is a sweet flying plane, I'm not personaly familure with the GP 60 size, but I do fly there extra 300 60 size and 40 size ultimate, and there, pardon the pun, great planes!

my friend had the 40 size cherokee and luved it, should make a good 3rd plane, as long as your comfertable with ailerons!

I've seen a couple of them and they are 'sweeeeet' flying birds - and with flaps make landings a breeze....I'd go for it!

Ok my mistake.
I'd keep the radio unless your planing on upgrading.
Myself I like a twist. It flys well in the wind.
What motor is on the that plane.
