A 30 amp will be OK for the 5400.

The screamer is a great flying little jet!! It does everything good! Fast and slow!! I am gonna get one too.. very soon.

I have the Katana with a custom fan and absolutely love it, Don, have you flown both? I'm wondering if the Screamer is that much better, I've really been thinking about one

The Screamer is noticeably faster with an equal power system. It's a must have.

I'm building my Screamer with a HET-240-15 + Microfan combo. My lipos have not arrived yet but I know the weight. It's about 138g (1600mAh 3S). What do you think. Do I have to move the fan back or can I use the recommended position (under the magnetic cover) to get the correct CG?

The katana flies great! Very stable and quick. But the Screamer is even better! With the same set up it will be faster and even more stable. I had an AMX with the AEO 55mm fan and 4750kv motor. It was going about 90mph straight and level With the same set up in the Screamer I am getting 105mph...

nothing w/ a fuse and a tail group will ever compare to a good flying wing , lift to drag wise. now looks are another story

fwiw, mine was good w/ a 1600/3's and a wicked wemo . battery was all the way back , but doable . your fan / motor should be close in weight, i think.
