I'm starting to get pretty comfortable with my inverted circuits. This little heli is awesome. I've stuffed it SO many times and I have ZERO damage. NONE.

I'd highly recommend this heli to anyone - both those looking to something to learn on as well as those that already know what they're doing.

Well, lucky YOU!! I have "stuffed it" many times too, and my crashes into walls were just too much ... today the landing skid "caved" ... and it broke right at the frame ... no way for me to glue that. But that problem will be solved pretty quick as I have a few others waiting ... (NON stock!)

Aloha All:
Got mine two weeks ago but did not get a chance to bind & fly until today. The MCPx is a floaty Cadillac (Old-days) compared to this little Corvette. It's small size makes it take-off more like a Bumble-bee than the traditional heli's. This threw me off at my first few attempts at getting airborne.

Anyway, does anyone have suggestions for battery upgrades? I just bought 5 of the Turnigy 160mah 30C (not the 25-40C continuous/burst type). Was sold by a video on Youtube with a guy testing them out flipping/inverted hovering while making comparisons to stock Lipos.

Thanks

EFlite gave themselves a bad name with the prior 12/14C worthless offerings.

The new 25C stock batteries work great.

I hate to see who's name you've got in your back pocket
I've heard mixed reviews about their stock Lipos for this heli. One of which is noticeable rpm loss when flipping. Is it really sustaining the 25C? Thanks for your input!

Can't say much for flipping, but I yes it bogs with collective input. I thought it was doing pretty well; I'll try a new TP and see how it goes.

I'm not good with heli physics but I would think an aggressive pitch curve would have more to do with thrust than head speed directly. However, if the Turnigy's have the power to deliver greater head speed than stock then an increase in thrust is probably natural.

It punches out pretty well now, but if it didn't bog down it would certainly do a lot better.

I have one of those NIB out in the garage. I'll get it in a few.

I've been flying mine for about 2 weeks now and just started flipping it around, it flies fine for about a minute and a half then has barely enough power to hover. I have 4 stock batteries, two have 25+ flights on them and 2 have about 15, they didn't act this way when new but performance has gotten steadily worse, hope mine are not dying already. I suspect my the stock charger is at fault though and I my not be getting a full charge even after replacing the AA's with fresh ones, I will make an adapter for my normal lipo charger and see what happens.
