Linear servos do not move under pressure the same way as regular servos and they naturally center them selves and hold center when you turn them off. Then there is the marks..if the marks are really intentionally there for zero pitch i see no reason why every heli shouldnt have perfect pitch out of the box. They are 0 for 2 on my heli's and probably 0-4 when i get the other 2 130x's on Monday

The servos they use for this heli have the same center pulse width and all cp helis are mechanically setup the same using a linear pitch curve with 0% at midstick. With these things you can setup 0 at midstick on any radio and it will be 0 at midstick on another as long as you have no trim, offset endpoints and a linear curve with 50%/0 pitch at midstick

I also do think they bind every single one to verify it functions and all the rtf's are prebound

My main motor went out after maybe 50 fights.

I also just found out that the swash plate breaks.. and not the balls on the links but the rear swash arm itself broke where it connects to the center ring.

So far in the last 50 or so flights I have had:

• one tail motor bushing break and destroy the motor.
• 2 booms crack
• one main motor die
• one swash plate break

A little pricey but oh well..

an easy reinforcement/fix to the swash is epoxy or hot glue around the base of each arm.
You should stop using the stock booms and go solid..i beat the heli out of mine all day long and it shows no sign of wear.

I have beat the crap out of mine as you can see in my video, but have yet to break anything but a pair of landing gear. I have noticed my main motor getting a little weak.

Throttle stick question

How much % of throttle stick travel are you supposed to have on the Nano RTF before it lifts off the ground?

With a centered throttle trim position mine requires between 70-80% before it will even lift off the ground.

Is there something wrong?

Yeah, its weird. I haven't even crashed much.. but the few times I did I must have just hit the table etc just right to crack the boom. Not sure how I pulled off busting a swash arm. that's never happened to any of my helis before.

No bend spindles no busted skids.. Funny how that works out.

Yeah I have some solid carbon fiber left over form the mcpx days when I usedd a 2mm boom..

Ill probably start using a solid one after this one cracks.

I fly mine with the dx6i, the older non dsmx version. No throttle hold issues yet. Did you double check your programming? Could be a bad 3in1? Apart from the bind issue, there have been no probs in my neck of the woods.

Older tx that isn't dsmx.

Maybe check to make sure your throttle hold is not inhibited in the systems menu

With my dx7 i am having binding trouble almost every time. It is inconvenient but it seems to work fine when it binds. Outside, it flies pretty good even staying solid with my funky flying. I like it so far
