Different brick but same concept: I've had my carbon cub so far out that only two bars were showing.
Are you sure it isnt false telemetry readings? My dx18 only shows a flat line where transmision lines should be....which indicates it is bound to an rx. Ill go look through the menu to check and make sure it works or not in just a few

Just tried it. Signal strength indicated by darkness of all the bars (i.e.: As I walked away, all the bars slowly faded/greyed until I just had the flat line at the limits of my range.)

Not quite the same as the AS6410NBL brick as I said earlier, but same idea.

Got back from my lunchtime maiden, wow she's everything I was hoping the mCPX would be, did some really tight flips and rolls, even backward loops are cake. I did manage to get 1 tail blow out in a backwards loop, but it's pretty gusty today and still held better than the V1 mCPX.

Still need to get used to the AS3X tho, seems like it's been turned way up for this bird, wierd seeing the heli correct it's self in wind gusts, gotta get used to trying not to manually correct.

I almost always sell my Blades after a month or so, but this one I can tell is a keeper! I havn't had a smile like this in a long time!

According to Andy from Horizon, this might just be true.

Mine flies GR8 too! A bit of a problem at first with the 'bind'...but then I looked at the instructions (IKR, what r those for...)and it showed that when you release the bind switch to push the ruder all the way to the left, until it binds, this will let the receiver know that it is bound to a computer radio, instead of a DX4...

LOVE THIS LITTLE BIRD!!!

Trying to practice flipping in my living room which of course resulted in a couple of wall banging moments. LOL. As a result, my first mod (other than using an 8t pinion on my outdoor one) was replacing the stock boom tube with a solid carbon rod. Much more durable.

You guys need to hide your latest purchase from your spouse?

Or do you like the sound of $1 canopies that's more durable than the stock?

Latest blog post on HacksMods.com details the answer to these questions.

I was forced to make that mod earlier as well I dont think it will break again being solid 2mm

New out of the box, I noticed the blade tracking to be slightly off. Is this a concern or with heli this size it should have little effect on performance?

Blade tracking would be off either because you do not have 0 pitch at center stick or the blades are bent/off balanced.
My bet would be not 0 at midstick...but if they are bent or off balance you will get the shakes

mine is also off by a tiny bit but it doesnt seem to effect anything.
But why would them not being 0 at midstick have anything to do with tracking?
