Ruzam - you doubt me??? I'm crushed! Okay, maybe it was 49,999, hard to tell on cloudy days.

And the cat had only minor injuries.

Yes, this is known as a 'zombie' board. Not having any spinning motors or blades attached, it's basically harmless so you won't have to waste a bullet shooting it in the microprocessor. Just don't let it get near you with the sharp edges of the board.

Sheesh, excuse me for defending a poor helpless creature.

And, whichwaysup's joke was nowhere near related. Wookster directly implied hurting a cat, and I know a lot of guys that think it's funny to joke about hurting cats.

I will move on now.

LOL. I'll keep that in mind.

Great, now my Nano is not only dead, it is living dead. From Franken-Nano to Zombie Nano in less than a month.

I think I should get something really big and dangerous now, that way it's a more even fight.

The disembodied board from beyond should bind same as normal. If it doesn't you've definitely got a board problem. If you can get it to bind by pressing on any of the circuit components (or the battery leads), it may just be a solder connection that's broken. You might even be able to narrow down which component is giving the trouble.

Not good. I can't get it to bind. I've taken it apart, put it back together, wiggled it, taken it apart again and wiggled everything on the board (but nothing wiggles). No go. I fear that this board is bad.

And to make matters worse, I (re)broke the tiny little red wire on the servo motor (the one near the motor plugs). I think this Nano has accomplished it's mission.

So, now the BIG question: Replace with another Nano, or bite the bullet and get the Brushless MCPX???????

Suggestions and violent arguements welcome.

I suggest you buy a brushless nano to replace yer broken heart. Cats and dogs love these little things while a brushless mcpx might scare or hurt them

Well what do you know, I happen to have a brushless nano sitting here for you

I know you do. Believe me, I know. I was actually going to PM you a few days ago to ask why you were selling it. . . . am curious.

This wasn't my first brushless conversion, so it was nothing new, more just to get a cleaner look than my homemade version on a previous nano that I sold. I flew this one about 10 times after the conversion and there it sat.

So really it is because I recycle my heli's and seem to need at least one new heli a month. Last month I went over my heli of the month membership and bought three heli's, so I need to unload a few that dont get used

Thankya much Sir !

A 4-cell NiMH pack will read ~5.5V when fully-charged & 4.4V when fully-discharged. Be sure to set the low voltage alarm to 4.4V or higher.

Hey... lets all get together and make an army of autonomous drones to chase feral cats in the woods so they don't kill birds and non pest rodents \

We can mount little water guns on them and shoot them at the cats, they hate that

KIDDING

(sorta )

I am in the same boat, my nano board is acting up, looks like a tail fet, and I am considering just buying a new one and having the old one for spares or getting the mcpx bl or secret option number 3 sending it to a guy on helifreak who can fix the board and do the bl conversion. Decisions decisions...
