Just got in from flying my mild Nano today with another 24 flights today including six new 240 mAh batteries that I received yesterday. Did 16 flights with it yesterday so that a total of 40 flights in two days. The mild Nano did well with the 240 mAh batteries which are 2g heavier that the stock batteries. The mild version really flies better with he 150 mAH batteries but the flight times are shorter. I really bought the larger batteries for my wild version which I hope to have up and running by the end of the week or sooner. Just a soon as I receive my esc from Dylan which is already in the mail, I will be in the air. Can't wait because I love the mild version so much, I know that I will like the wild one even better. If any of you are thinking about going BL, don't think...just do it and never look back. You won't regret it!

We'll see how my tail boom fix works.
I was going to just CA the split since it was not affecting my flight performance at all, but I wanted to change the looks of the heli and I had to cut and resolder the tail motor wires anyway. So I used an old mSR boom I had laying around. It's 1/4" shorter then the original. Have 2 others, so if it works I can have 2 more oops moments. ![]() I also had a mCPX boom which is 1" longer, but did not have enough wire length to try that one. Anyway here's a pic of the new look. Man I can not wait till I can get orange tail and main blades..... |

First off, I would really like to reiterate how much i like this heli. My first electric micro was an Ikarus Piccolo, and anyone who learned to hover and fly on one of those knows the pain all too well. Boy have we come along way, from a FP that shattered if you blew on it too hard, to a FBL that I have dorked in numerous times learning 3D maneuvers.
That being said, my last inadvertent backflip into a window lead me to buying some spares. Need a tail boom, and I noticed the aluminum upgrades on the Horizon page. Being a web designer during other times, I noticed something else on the Nano page that many may have overlooked. Below is a picture. |

I can't replicate what I did to get it to show up, but it is there under certain circumstances.

It seems that it doesn't matter what is in that 'field' as long as there is something, and in lower case. http://www.horizonhobby.com/products...dit-BLH3380#t1 http://www.horizonhobby.com/products...ter-BLH3380#t1 So I'm gonna say; Where did you get that link?

Yeah. So I guess you can just do that. Kinda funny I guess. Someone'll come along and explain all this web-i-ness to us I'm sure... |
