v1 and v2?

On parts i think for most the landing gear, feathering shaft and motors are the most problematic. Tail boom as well if you dont reinforce it or upgrade to a solid boom

Click on my name and you'll find my blog. There a post there on paper canopy and best tip for gluing up photo paper if you're still interested.

Hacksmods.com has a mCPX paper canopy post as well.

Hahaha, and I thought I was reading the mCPx thread, too. I also thought today was Saturday, , until Daryoon just corrected me. Oh boy, too much food.

Thanks for the tip on the Black Friday sale. I've been looking for an opportunity to pick up a second, and it just presented itself.

For my quickest outings, I generally take my nCPX and my mCPX. When conditions are perfect calm, I can actually like the slightly smoother nature of the m. But surprisingly, the Nano's stronger tail and greater power reserve makes it the better choice almost every other time. Now I can switch on and off, and I'm not totally out of luck if something gets tweaked. The m isn't going to be seeing as much action in a week or so.

Nothing concrete yet. Just rumours at this point but here's a link to the discussion.

Do you guys have alloy cases for the nano and radio? What is the best size?

Cheers

zombcom over on HeliFreak posted his Nano CP X with the Genius FP canopy in case you guys haven't seen it yet.

What a little decal can do to the look of the canopy.

And here is Ampdraw's take on the Genius CP.

M post on the topic:
Blade Nano Canopy Revisited

zombcom had an unfortunate accident with is canopy. He said he left it in his shop and the heat deformed it. But afterwards, he tested it out and it's resilient to getting bashed up. Just keep it away from the heat.

I am looking into getting one of these and notice this site with CNC upgrades. Not sure if it was mentioned in this thread - if so sorry for the double post.

The box it came in is pretty good, that's what I use, but these Harbor Freight boxes are popular. Someone posted one earlier showing the Nano and radio in it.

Nice! just ordered the red swash plate. The blade grips look nice but I'm a little concerned that I already bend feathering shafts with the stock plastic grips, there is little to no give in aluminum so now instead of bending and being able to staighten them back now you could possibly just shear them in half and possibly do more damage to the heli in the process.

The feathering shaft bends because it's the part with the most give. Whether the grips are plastic or aluminum won't change that. At these small dimensions I wouldn't be surprised if the aluminum grips are the part that gives first.
