Who's ear do you have? Is it directly to Yang? Is BEV acting as a proxy for Yang? How do you communicate these requests? Through this thread, BEV's Skype, or email? The firmware you are talking about is only for the Storm? They promised new firmware for the Nova months ago, but now nothing. I guess they silently dropped support for the Nova with the release of the Storm.

if you read the notice on BEVRC's site (in the facebook section) you will see all this is what they have said.
And that most of the new update for the STORM is going to be implimented in the NOVA also(obviously a few things missing because of the hardware differences.

Hope this explains it for you .
Cheers
Patrick

Is there an open dialog anywhere with BEVRC about development of Cyclops OSDs, or do they lurk behind this thread? If such a dialog exists, I would like to participate. I certainly played the role of a beta tested with all the trials and tribulations I went through with the Nova.

I'm very interested in the alt hold feature this OSD offers and it seems rock solid(even though you control throttle)

Is not hard to have solid alt-hold when you have the appropriate thrust.
But is hard to find a proper throttle on failsafe to handle all flight conditions.
Frsky has a mode that could help for this, allowing to set failsafe during flight. Just fly level hands free and push a button

For the amount above you can buy instead the following:
- $70 a 2560 based flight controller fitted with the best sensors today, including also a magnetometer, which the board subject of this thread does not feature.
- $25 a GPS
- $46 the dedicated OSD
Total $141. What is missing, a current sensor worth $15.
Hi Renatoa, could you please give me a hint to find the $46 dedicated OSD?
TIA

And APM2 board is $199, don't see prices for APM1 board. Can you give hints to other boards needed for your setup and prices you quoted?

The manual says it supports Elevon function, but the elevon mixing needs to be turned off in the transmitter for it to work? If anyone has experience using this in a flying wing please share it here. I'm curious to find out how it works.

I have no experience with this OSD, but all OSDs with autopilot need to be responsible for the elevon mixing, not the Tx. Otherwise how would it control your elevons during RTH when you loose contact with your Tx?
