but the zero470 wont work properly. it has no gyros on the arm, so will swing.

ecilop is still miles ahead of the game, i have the mini650, adn then bought the ecilop.

ecilop is 1000x better build quality, and better video quality. worth the 4x price easily!!!

The kit will come with a complete YS-X6 FC system plus one IMU unit to control the frame stabilization. Best not to speculate on how it will perform. So far the YS-X6 is a system that works really well.

+1

I think many people exposes their opinion without having read the first post.
Please read the first post before writing meaningless comments.

I assume you are saying this because you have had a close look at the system and have tried it. Or are you just making worthless comments.

One should never criticise something unless they have used it.

Where can I buy extra IMU for mini650?

I don't see any problems to install regular 2 gyros at the gimbal, but to use another ZeroUav IMU would be cool I think

This thread uses the term “steadicam”, which is wrong. Today, lots of camera mounts are sold under the Steadicam brand. However, the original Steadicam invention is comprised of arms and springs that transfer the weight of the camera onto the operator’s body. A multicopter has no human body and no arms with springs. That is why the use of the term Steadicam in this context is a mistake. Here is an image of the patented Steadicam element:

Garrett Brown is the author of Steadicam. Here is an image from his patent:

Garrett Brown is the author of a number of patents that have a camera with a counterweight, but it’s the additional elements that are patented, not the stabilization principle itself.
This stabilization principle had been known long before Steadicam. Here is an invention from 1931, where the patented object is a system with counterweights:

The patented feature of ECILOP drones is the method of camera rotation that uses springs on a servo gear and the use of a gyroscope for swinging prevention:

P.S. Is it a joke? It is not a "Zero-steadi470":

Sorry, the frame is especially designed for the whole system and we provide the "ready to fly" solution, so we just sell the entire system in market, the frame is not sold singlely. For old customers, you can send back your YS-X6 IMU&MC to refresh, and we reset up an entire package for you. So, just once installation, you can fly and get stable videos.
