The only reason I can see for the douchebag wanting to confess is that he wants to do triathalons again.

The guy's a total narcissistic loser....without the attention he gets from competing or winning he's nothing.

Even if he does confess to EVERYTHING I say he still deserves a lifetime ban from all competitive sports......even miniature golf.
It's just Lance being Lance... Nevermind apologizing to the careers of those he ruined, nevermind paying back those he sued for "slander" when it turns out they were just reporting the facts, nevermind those he made a mockery of in public when he was just as guilty.... Nope, it's not about any of those things... It's all about Lance... What does Lance want to do? Well, Lance wants to compete again.

All Lance can do is think about himself. It's nothing new.

Love this line from the article.

“Forgiveness is a process. Acts mean more than words,’’ Betsy Andreu said by email. “... If Lance is really sorry, let him pay Christophe Bassons the millions he lost from Lance derailing his career. Let him pay Greg back for having helped destroy his bike company.’’

Lance just needs to be quiet and carry on with his life.

Nah, he needs to go win a Triathlon. That would be a tremendous achievement and would be more proof of the athlete that he is.

Exactly. Fade away into the shadows and under the radar so he can keep much of what he stole.

Unless they bust him for doping. LOL

And nobody is denying he wasn't/isn't a tremendous athlete. It's just all the underhanded tactics that include, bullying, cheating, bribing, stealing etc...

Other than that, I bet he's a stand up guy!

That is true. He is a fantastic athlete. I would like to ee him win something like that to shut everyone up.

I don't know that he stole anything. He was doing the same thing that many others were doing.

That is part of biking. It's not a nice sport.

Cheating and winning is stealing from those who are not cheating and not winning and having their careers or "one shot" at super-start status stolen from them.

And "much" isn't "everyone." Not everyone was willing to race without integrity back then. They had their opportunity stolen from them by the cheaters.

Take Bradley McGee for example.

As someone who races road bikes over 30 times a year, I can assure you, you're wrong.

Top tier teams are cut throat. It's hard to find a top racer who has not been accused of all manner of bad behavior that helped get them to the top. It's the nature of the sport. Rider are stolen from teams, dropped when they don't produce, promised positions, promises broken, they lie to the press, other riders, teams and often teammates to get an advantage. Many top riders have that year when they screw the teams star to put themselves on top.

It's all to common and whining about it is like whining about Olympic figure skating judges.
