At that power level I get close to 2.5kg in the plane. At 2500 watts the thrust is about 3.2kg in the plane.
Sorry I haven't a stand to measure the thrust.

Wemo 6s 2200w = 3.5kg or so thrust, Jetfan 6s 2400w 3.5kg thrust, CS12 6s 2200w around 3.3kg thrust. Give or take but this is close.

Why not just go to a hardware store and buy a nice new metric nut?
If something like a poor quality nut can't be overcome, I'm afraid you are way over your heads in trying to get an EDF running safely.

Um because they owe us another nut that is made correctly....we also discussed earlier in the thread that a regular metric nut would have to large of an outside circumference to fit inside the spinner. But thanks for the vote of confidence of our abilities off of one post.

I havent ran my fan yet but when I get to it, I want to add more stators made from aluminum cans and see if it does anything for thrust numbers.

Its funny how Ming was promoting this fan and launching it, to be the first to have an 18blade fan on the market. (Arson is about to also) But now he is no were to be seen. I would like to know what he is going to say about the fan, now that some people here have tested it.
still no sight of Ming? felt cheated.

I'm done with Change Sun products and Ming Lou. Obviously not concerned with its customers or reputation of its products.
