Matt,

Piccolos in general are pretty tuff. As a beg. the best upgrade is the lipos (that you said you already have)....it gives you plenty of flying time, which is the only thing you need right now. Back when they first came out using the 7x250's you were lucky to get a solid 2 1/2 minutes of flying, which made learning hard

Its hard to say what upgrades/spares other than that are best. Roberts CF blades I have posted are better off for more advanced/intermediates. They help with forward flight, which it sounds like you are not going to be doing just quite yet.

Another good upgrade is the upgraded bearing holder (to metal). This helps hold the bearings when the head pops off. Although, if you just use a little CA to hold the bearing on (applied very carefully of course) this upgrade is not neccessary.

The parts I have listed are ones that are broken often, which is why I had them as spares. Lots of people also experiement with blades (ie using the 8x3 cut to improve performance....so having a spare stock set is always nice)

Note, the one way auto unit requires the CF CP shaft for the extra length.

Thanks,

Scott

Thank you Scott, sounds like I should just try it for a while as is and thanks for the tip on the bearings.I'm trying to not spend much on this and other toys right now so if you end up having trouble selling the carbon blades(I'm shure you will not) or the extra set of regular blades, please contact me in a week or so,I will probably be able to pull some funds out for one set or both.Thanks.Matt.
