pretty planes

ok so some of these corflute builds are spectactular looking, nice job guys your giving me ideas.
havent built any that nice YET but i am still enjoying basic builds and wings
as they are so versatile took the motor of a wing and threw it off a slope for something different worked great and would take me 10 seconds to replace motor.

awsome

As we all know black permanent marker isnt cheap might spring for paint next time or even a 3d fuse BUT as the folks at our field seen a bit of program mixing on the dual servo elevator makes up for dodgy texta with some pretty cool manouvers like a near vertical stable high alphas and an off axis vert roll was a sight to be seen.

$2 of glue $3 of paint and my precious marker not bad for a 5 buck mig

I've built a few!

SPADs did more for my flying skills than any other aspect of my RC hobby.
They taught me to build from scratch, something I still wouldn't attempt with balsa.
They taught me to experiment - if it looks right, and the CoG is in the right position, it'll more than likely fly right too.
They taught me to land - very few had undercarraiges, so when flying glow engines, there was only one chance, and it was always a dead-stick-landing ... you get pretty good pretty quickly.
They introduced me to dog-fighting - nothing better than a good-old streamer chase to learn how to deliberately look away from your model for a full second without crashing afterwards.
They introduced me to sloping - which is still my favorite RX pursuit.

Here are a couple of planes I built from Corro:

ditto on your builds. Have just discovered (yesterday) sloping with a corflute wing that I made off the top of my head as far as dimentions go, similar to yours. what a buzz and no broken props, bent shafts, burnt out escs etc, etc. like your red pointy too. Got something similar but powered. best thing about corflute, other than the speed of building, is their ability to handle a crash.

easy build wing

Yet another simple build what makes it cool is that it is made from one single peice of corflute such as a for sale sign or bottle shop sign which is 900 by
600mm and after folding is still 900mm span which is great for leaving in the car and is still big enough to be stable and visual at distance.
