Ok, so you are an engineer, right?

This plastic camera mount is 100% copy from the Ecilop V1203.
You are talking about damping, but there is a rigid connection with a screw, so it is not a damper, but just a soft gasket. And what is this gasket for?

Ecilop battery platform allows to place the battery centered each time (position is fixed from both sides). How to place a battery to the same position each time on your mount?

So how can you talk about the "Autopilot accelerometers"

Signal from the gyro is necessary to eliminate swinging. Misconception of the single Zero-IMU was explained: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...&postcount=842
One of two gyros will not coincide with a first rotation axle if you place them in a single block.

You bought a lock tail gyro of the Helicopter and use it be a stablizer,but the ZeroUAV is doing another thing.

They use the independent IMU to measure the attitude data of the camer mount,and then feekback the data to the aotopilot,and send out the special stabilizaation signal to stabilize the camner mount.

The two working methold is not the same thing. Between yours and theirs.

The way of the ZeroUAV is a complete solution including Electronic parts and Mechanic parts.But there is only one thing related to the Electronics in your solution:the lock tail gyro of the Helicopter.

Ok have been reading this thread over and over, Seems like not one of these designs has anything over the other, just trying to grab the steadycam ap market with dlight difference in design, so brings me to this conclusion.

#1 Anyone following this thread must have some technical knowledge of how to create a frame

#2 Are more than aware what they want out of a ap vehicle for stable shots.

#3 Have experimented with frames , and tweaked them to try and get better results, and posted photos on sites like this.

So where did these designs originally form? In the minds of us all. In fact , when i started in ap videography , i modified an old quadframe to take a gopro steadycam on the FRONT of the quad with ok results, does that mean i came up with this idea? This is a highly competetive markryt and i think the only rule for the consumer is to go with quality, that can be very difficult when developers are trying to come up with cheaper and lighter solutions.

I also design engineering concepts within a team and many of my ideas have been improved with external input, so in my opinion the correct thing to do would to approach the ecilop designer with there ideas to improve the concept and to have a deal of commission with the designer if said improvement were implemented into the design. THIS IS CORRECT not to change the frame slightly and call it your own WRONG. I personally will be constructing a frame based on these ideas and a few of my own to create my OWN personal rig with no intention of producing it to sell. This market has been flooded with copycats and there is no point in patent with any so called new ideas because at the end of the day, the consumer will decide what he or she will purchase.

Whoever imagined putting a Steadicam on a quadcopter is utter genius and whoever you are, hats off to you. Who knows it could of been mel lol!!!!!!!
