BenMa E-1003 - Commanche?

http://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-Be...o-p-49359.html

Description:

Battery: 7.4V 800mAh Li-po Battery
Charging Time: 2.5 Hours
Flight Time: 6-8 Minutes

Noticed this new heli on banggood, anyone got some info? How the TX looks ?

I think it's looking very good! Also see it's using 2S lipos, which is nice cause I got some laying around.

on benma's website here: http://www.benmahobby.com/productsho...pst=1001001001

On the products page under 4ch helis of that same website it shows the V911 and the 9958. Knew they had their hand in the V911 develoment, didnt know about the 9958. Interesting.

From the video on Benma's site, it seem to handle wind fairly nicely. But they showed only hovering around the pond. The charging time is discouraging though.

Problem with most smaller scale helis is that they often leave out the option to change batteries. Perhaps this can be altered on this one with some modding?

Scale looks cool but you carry around alot of excess bagage. Small helis need to be kite as possible.

Yeah, I'm sure it's possible to solder on a small battery connector, those walkera types. And then use some velcro to make the lipo stick.

I have it...you can hover with it and whatnot, but it's nowhere near as stable as a Walkera or Exceed RC 300 series (Or, maybe i just got unlucky, but it's a pain to mod this heli or any scale heli). The Commanche sure does look cool on a display shelf though.

Here it is in the video.... (in the background)

I have yet to find a single youtube video on it, so do post a video review once you receive it. I think mine's is a lemon. i have hard time just making it hover in one place. it needs some adjusting, but i will leave that for another day.

Good luck with yours.

EDIT: I did find this video on the site: http://www.benmahobby.com/productsho...pst=1001001001

Seems like a windy day to be flying this heli, but mines behaves just like that even when flying indoor. Looks like the pilot was struggling to fly/hover it.

That's a much better video than the one posted on the officials site. Like most other helis, much of the secret lies in proper setup and piloting skills. I think mine's need a good setup, but i am too lazy to take it apart and adjust everything ground up. That's the thing with scale helis. It's a lot more work, but worth it if you like the look and feel of scale helicopters.
